Sikkim Government College, Namchi, 09.05.2025:A motivation and awareness programme was conducted by the officers of 4 Airmen Selection Centre, Indian Air Force Station, Barrackpore, West Bengal at the college auditorium. The programme was attended by the sixth semester students of all the Departments as well as NCC Cadets of the college. The resource person for the session were Sargent Ashok Kumar and Corporal A.S Rajawat. The session started with the discussion on Skill Development and its importance. Detailed information was imparted regarding the Agniveervayu Scheme and the process of applying for the same. The perks and privileges attached were also explained to the students. In addition to the above, other job vacancies in defence forces and their requirements were also discussed. Lastly, the doubts of the students were cleared by the resource person. Overall, it was a fruitful session for the students.
